Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 April 2026
Agreement
By accessing or using MacroXray (the “Service”), available at macroxray.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
What MacroXray Is
MacroXray is a free tool for ranking and discovering protein products based on published nutrition data. We rank products using public nutrition information from manufacturers and your chosen priorities. We are not a nutritionist, doctor, or medical service, and nothing on the Service is medical or dietary advice.
Accounts
You can use MacroXray without an account. If you create an account (via email and password, or by signing in with Google), you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can request account deletion at any time by emailing hello@macroxray.com.Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others, or to submit content that is unlawful, misleading, or infringes anyone's rights.
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute substantial portions of the ranking data, product data, or methodology without written permission.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or interfere with the Service, or bypass rate limits and security controls.
- Submit product information you know to be false or intentionally misleading.
User Submissions
When you submit content to MacroXray (ratings, tags, reviews, “I tried this” entries, product submissions, benchmark data, etc.), you grant MacroXray a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and use that content to operate and improve the Service. You retain ownership of your content. We may remove content at our discretion, particularly if it violates these terms.Product Data and Rankings
Rankings and product information are provided for general information only. We rank based on nutrition facts published by manufacturers and do not lab-test products — published values may be inaccurate or out of date. Always check the actual product label before purchasing or consuming. MacroXray is not responsible for decisions you make based on the rankings.
Affiliate Links
Some links on MacroXray are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase. This never influences rankings. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.Intellectual Property
The MacroXray name, logo, ranking methodology, and site design are owned by MacroXray. The underlying product and brand data belongs to the respective manufacturers and retailers. You may link to MacroXray and share individual rankings or product pages, but you may not republish the full dataset or clone the Service.
Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that rankings, prices, availability, or nutrition data are accurate, complete, or up to date. MacroXray is not a substitute for professional nutrition, medical, or dietary advice.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MacroXray and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to purchase decisions, health outcomes, or loss of data. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using it.
Changes to the Service
We may update, change, or discontinue features of the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Service from time to time — material changes will be communicated via the app or email, and the “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these Terms. You can stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account by emailing hello@macroxray.com.Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MacroXray is operated. Any disputes will be handled in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless local consumer protection law provides otherwise.
